About Evan C Prentice
We’re a proud 3rd generation family business specializing in piano tuning, repairs, and restoration.
The Prentice legacy began with my grandfather, Thomas Prentice, who worked at renowned Melbourne piano factories, Wertheim and Zenker & Schultes. My father, Clifford Prentice, honed his craft at The Orchestrelle Company and became Melbourne’s leading concert and studio tuner in the '60s and '70s.
I trained under his guidance for 14 years, continuing our family tradition after his passing in 1987. With extensive experience, including concert work and C. Bechstein accreditation, I’m dedicated to delivering exceptional piano care.
